About me

👋 Welcome!

Hi, I’m Jash, and I’m thrilled to share my ongoing accounting journey to CPA with you! This blog is where I document my experiences, personal finance strategies, and lessons learned along the way.

📚 My Background

I grew up in India, where I completed my high school before moving to Canada for higher studies. At Centennial College, I earned a three-year diploma in Accounting while working full-time as a Senior Accounting Manager at a CPA firm.

📍 Where I Am Now

Today, I’m still working at the same CPA firm, but I’ve also taken a new step in my journey—I’ve started my Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at York University.

Here’s my plan:

  • Graduate in 2027 with my B.Com in Accounting.
  • Begin my CPA PEP program in Summer 2028.
  • Share my budgeting tools, CPA study tips, and personal finance insights to help others on a similar path.

📌 2025 Personal Goals

This year, I’m focusing on:
✔️ Growing My Investments – Increasing dividend income from stocks and high-interest savings accounts (HISA).
✔️ Reaching a $100K Stock Portfolio – I’m at $54K right now. The goal is to double it by year-end.
✔️ Improving Time Management – Breaking bad habits and optimizing my productivity.
✔️ Consistency in Blogging – Using Notion to stay organized and post regularly.

If you’re on a CPA journey, interested in investing, or just want to get better at money management, I’d love to connect! Let’s learn and grow together. 🚀
